Kurzfassung

Das SpeechBrain Project liefert ein benutzerfreundliches, State-of-the-Art Open-Source-Toolkit für automatische Spracherkennung (ASR). SpeechBrain ist eine flexible Alternative zu bestehenden Spracherkennungs-Toolkits, die häufig eine komplizierte und aufwendige Vor- und Nachverarbeitung der Eingangsdaten erfordern. Ziel dieses Master-Projekts ist es, den bestehenden ASR-Teil des Speech Communication Laboratory auf SpeechBrain zu übertragen. Durch das Projekt lernt ihr die Konzepte der automatischen Spracherkennung und die Python-Library PyTorch kennen. Diese Kenntnisse könnt ihr durch die Verwendung des brandneuen SpeechBrain-Toolkits direkt umsetzen. Das Projekt wird kontinuierlich betreut.

Short description

The SpeechBrain Project provides an open-source, state-of-the-art and user-friendly toolkit for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). SpeechBrain is a flexible alternative to existing ASR toolkits that often require complicated and inconvenient pre- and post-processing steps. This Master project aims at transferring the existing ASR part of the Speech Communication Laboratory to SpeechBrain. During the project, you will learn the concepts of Automatic Speech Recignition and gain knowledge in Python/PyTorch programming using a brand-new ASR toolkit. The project will be continuously supervised.

• Adaptation of of lab exercise
