This work focuses on the real-time implementation and interactive
visualization of a real-time algorithm for estimating the azimuthal
direction of individual frequencies on the basis of interaural time
and level differences. The literature will be investigating and an
algorithm appropriate for real-time implementation will be
sought. Then a strategy for the interactive visualization of the
algorithm output will be investigated. The goal is to create an
interactive system that allows users to interact meaningfully with the
frequency content of signals on the basis of azimuth estimates.
