Abstract

This essay deals with the comparison of two softwares which are used for analysis, prevention and solution of room acoustic problems in large rooms: CATT Acoustic and Ulysses.

The multipurpose-room “Cubus Wolfurt” exemplifies the differences, commonalities, debilities and forces of both programs as well as the calculation and display possibilities. The differences between the calculation-results and the manageability is stressed.
