Zusammenfassung

Das Ziel dieser Projektarbeit ist es, einen Einblick in die Verwendung eines Active Noise Cancellation-Systems bei Elektrogeräten zu geben und dessen Sinnhaftigkeit zu evaluieren. Das Herzstück bildet hier ein S-Cube Development Kit der Firma Silentium, das die komplette Hard- und Software für die Einarbeitung in dieses Thema enthält. Im Zuge der Arbeit wird zunächst kurz auf das allgemeine Funktionsprinzip der ANC eingegangen und danach der Einbau der Komponenten beschrieben. Weiters wird die vollständige Anwendung von der Kalibrierung bis zum Starten der ANC ausgeführt und schlussendlich durch Messungen die erreichte Performance überprüft.

Abstract

The aim of this project is to give an insight to the usage of an active noise cancellation system in electronic devices and to evaluate its usefulness. The central piece used is the S-Cube Development Kit delivered by the company Silentium, which contains all the necessary hard- and software for an introduction to this topic. First, the principle of function of ANC is explained and the installation of the components is described. Furthermore, the whole usage from calibration to starting the ANC is illustrated. At last, the achieved performance is verified through measurements.
