Michael Paierl is a PhD student at Graz University of Technology, specializing in signal and speech processing as well as automatic speech recognition. He holds a Master’s degree in Sound Engineering from TU Graz, where his thesis focused on modeling natural conversations for human-robot interaction using a spontaneous speech corpus. His research interests include speech signal processing, speech sciences, and acoustics, with a particular focus on advancing speech-based human-computer interaction. By combining expertise in engineering and linguistics, he aims to contribute to the development of more natural and intelligent speech technologies.
