The SPSC has a job opening for a student project assistant to be filled as soon as possibleuntil June 2018.
In the project ‘HumanEVoice’ we are working on a natural voice for people without a larynx. We have developed a demonstator system in MATLAB that we want to port on a mobile device. This could be either a single board computer (like the Raspberry Pi) or an Android smart phone.
Your profile:
- TU Graz master student of information and computer engineering or sound engineering or similar.
- Experience with audio processing (Python, C/C++) under linux
- Experience with app development on Android
- Experience with audio hardware
- Experience with speech processing
- Since it is a project focusing on the female voice, female candiates will have a bonus.

- Gross salary per month: ~1000 EUR (based on 20h/week) according to the university collective agreement
- Flexible working hours
- It is possible to work on a student project or Master’s thesis in the same context
- In case of a successful project proposal, there is the possibility of an extension beyond June.
