Short description

Because of large glass areas and other reflecting surfaces in winter gardens the room acoustic situation is unsatisfactory. Especially the speech intelligibility is not sufficient and implicates that the winter gardens are not really usable for conversations. Because of the large glass surfaces the use of acoustic absorbers in most cases isn’t possible. In this work different options for the room acoustic optimization of winter gardens shall be developed.
