Short description

In the EU Project DIRHA [1], we are building a voice controlled home automation system. For the real-time prototype, we are investigating the use of the gstreamer multimedia framework. We will determine an appropriate algorithm that will be implemented. After the implementation the written work should discuss the advantages and possible challenges of the chosen approach.

Your tasks

• Study of the chosen audio processing algorithm
• Implementation of the algorithm as as gstreamer plugin
• Documentation and discussion of experiences

Your profile/prerequisites

• Speech and audio processing
• Coding skills
• Experience with gstreamer is a plus, but not necessary
