In the first part an accordion tuning program is developed, which is able to measure very quickly and with high accuracy (0.1 cents) the pitch of individual reeds. After a delay of 0.28 s each new measurement value is determined at intervals of 0.093 s, which is displayed with adjustable averaging. In the second part a beat editor is developed with which the beat depending on the pitch can be set and stored in tables. This forms the basis for the development of a tuning program for measuring the beat of polychoric reeds in the third part. The frequency of the 2 or 3 reeds of a tone are measured simultaneously. After a delay of 0.37 s each new measurement set, consiting of lower beat, basic frequenzy, upper beat and the asymmerty of the beat, is determined at intervals of 0.093 s, which is displayed with adjustable averaging.
