The 15th Annual Conference of the International Speech Communication Association was held in Singapore from Sept 14-18, 2014. This is the largest worldwide scientific conference in the area of Speech Communication. The SPSC lab has succeeded in presenting 9 scientific papers (out of a grand total of 615 papers accepted from 1173 submissions), which number places the SPSC lab among the most successful labs at this conference, even when compared to the largest Speech Communication research labs in the world. Furthermore, one out of only 6 special sessions has been co-organized by our laboratory.

Many thanks to our Interspeech authors from SPSC lab: Carlos Eduardo Cancino Chacón, Martin Hagmüller, Gernot Kubin, Ludwig Mohr, Juan Andrés Morales-Cordovilla, Pejman Mowlaee, Franz Pernkopf, Hannes Pessentheiner, Lukas Pfeifenberger, Barbara Schuppler, Mario Kaoru Watanabe, and Matthias Zöhrer. It is most noteworthy that 4 of our presentations are direct outcomes of Master’s theses conducted at our lab, which shows the high potential and motivation of our students - congratulations!
