The Electroacoustics Lab serves as test bench for loudspeakers and is equipped with the electroacoustic measurement system „Distortion Analyzer (DA 2)“ from Klippel together with a laser vibrometer, a standardized sound wall and different loudspeaker systems. Among others, the following metrics can be determined:

• Thiele-Small-Parameters (small signal)
• large signal parameters
• SPL frequency response (small signal)
• nonlinear frequency responses (large signal)
• directivity of loudspeakers
