This year Admont Abbey was the destination of our lab excursion. After visiting the famous library, which is the largest monastery library in the world, we had a filling lunch break at the “Stiftskeller” beside the abbey. The next stop was Strechau castle. It is an impressive castle high above the valley and also includes an oldtimer exhibition. On the way back to Graz we made a coffee break at the “Knappenwirt” in St. Stefan/Leoben were we ate maybe the hugest pieces of cake in the world! :-)
