Abstract | We present a Matlab-based game, teaching the interplay between the pole-zero chart of a linear filter and its magnitude response. The estimation error, which acts as a game score, is based on concepts undergraduate students learn during elementary signal processing courses at our university. The game is accompanied by an online database collecting the players’ results and admitting a statistical analysis thereof. |
